22 May - Rubbish Photo

Terrible photo, but unfortunately the only one I took that day. I meant to take more but I got distracted by DC Universe vs. Mortal Kombat. Apologies.

21 May - The Sprite

Went out for a spin in Hannah's new Sprite. I won't pretend to know anything about cars. I just know it's pretty.

20th May - Epic Cake

My rather epic birthday cake made by my fantastic mother. Yes that is edible gold icing. Mmm.

19 May 2009

My beautiful 21st birthday present from Sarah, Hannah and Phil. The camera was running out of battery while I was taking this last night, so I didn't quite manage to get the focus I wanted, but it's still pretty nice all the same. :)

I Know It's Been A While...

But I'm back. Another mammoth post of pictures I've taken over fraught exam/essay period. Back to regular everyday hopefully now. :)

1. And that's why I'll never do an IT degree.
2. If Rachel says you need to blacken peppers, then you blacken peppers.
3. YAY SUPERDAD
4. Graffiti somewhere in Liverpool.
5. Stevie drew this in September of me, her and Hannah. :3
6. You can't see the writing, but that's my dissertation. WOOP.
7. Getting my hair dyed. Foils are the best.
8. Will tried making iced tea. It wasn't the greatest, but I'm sure he will do better next time.
9. I forgot to bring the sheets in, but they looked pretty. I brought them in after I took a picture.
10. Hayley and Hannah at Hayley's birthday dinner.
11. Alexx as The Crow and Stevie as The Joker at our Superhero/villain party.

Oomoo Brownie

The most amazing brownie in the world can be found in Oomoo (formerly The White Room). They warm it for you and everything. Me and Sarah indulged ourselves at lunchtime. I am aware this is against the Get Sexy Plan. But still.  Mm...

14-27 April

The unrelenting mass of work has got in the way of me doing this for the past few weeks, hence the lack of updates. I've managed to take a photo most days, but I've included some extra blossom ones for the couple I missed. So, lots of photos...

Pharmacy near my house has clearly been the site of a zombie attack.
Flowers that my mum was sent by her best friends while in hospital.
Sarah and I revising in the library.
The Get Sexy Plan.
Hannah and Teddy.
Me with a book on my face. Hoping to absorb information by osmosis.
Vanessa eating chips and curry at uni.
Blossom at Hope Park.
More blossom.
Even more.
Will and his Power Ranger cake that he bought for £1.50 in ASDA.
Until It Hurts exhibition at the Open Eye Gallery in town (next to Django's Riff).
Jay and his freakish hands.

13/04 - Custard

Meet Custard. Custard is the best Golden Retriever in the whole world. He likes bonios, yoghurt, hugs and being brushed.

12/04 - Calf of Man

The Boy and I went to visit the seals down at the Sound on easter sunday. Unfortunately they were too far away to take pictures of so here is a pretty picture of Kitterland and the Calf of Man. There is an explanation of why it's called Kitterland here (which sounds better if you read it in your head with manx accent, by the way).

11/04 - Ducks!

Alexander and I walked from the ford in Ballasalla to Silverdale to feed the ducks. I freakin' love ducks.

10/04 - Revive Rose Lee

Okay, so same gig, but technically the next day. This was Revive Rose Lee who were doing some sort an IoM Easter mini tour. Their cover of Running Up That Hill was awesome.

09/04 - [A]fter [K]orova at The Creek

Excellent gig at The Creek in Peel on thursday night, despite difficulties with the venue.

08/04 - Windmills in the sea

Sailed past these swirly wind majiggers on the way back to the Isle of Man from Liverpool.

07/04 - The Real Reason People Do PGCE

I found six tupperware boxes of these bears in the library in the educational materials section. The attraction to teaching has become obvious to me now. I'm on to you Misses "Oh-I-sooo-want-to-be-a-teacher" Gordon and Cockayne.

06/04 - More Emma

Sitting on a barstool in Hot n Tender, where we ended up eating dinner instead of taking away,  because a monsoon happened while we were ordering.

04/04 - Toothbrushes

My lonely single toothbrush is on the far right. I have the coolest toothbrush holder to make up for it. And the girliest toothbrush, for some reason.

03/04 - Blue WKD

Drinking Blue WKD from the wine glasses I painted on a friday night with Hannah and Phil. We are Classy Birds.

02/04 - More Clouds

I love blue skies with clouds in them. They are much more exciting than clear blue skies. I took this at Hope Park on my way home from Uni. I know it's not the most exciting photo in the world, but it makes me happy.

Have you ever heard of The Cloud Appreciation Society? They think the same way.

01/04 - Mmm Crepe

There is this great pancake shop on Bold Street, so Rachel and I got ourselves some crepes and milkshake. It was gooood. The shop is full of happy memories: discovering it with Sarah, being interrogated about whether I was going to date Alexx or not by Han and Stevie, hanging out with Lucy's Doncatraz crew... Good times.
